We seek a proactive and detail-oriented professional with proven CATIA skills to act as a robust supplier coordinator in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate does not focus on design tasks but excels in tracking and managing suppliers, ensuring compliance with technical documentation and approved modifications in 2D and 3D plans. This role requires a strong ability to manage multiple suppliers, follow up persistently, and lead modifications that contribute to improved project timelines and quality adherence. The candidate must demonstrate strong soft skills such as assertive communication, problem-solving, and leadership to maintain effective collaboration among internal teams and external suppliers. Fluency in English or French is required. Knowledge and experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage supplier activities related to updated technical plans, including 2D and 3D CATIA documentation.
  • Ensure supplier adherence to modified plans and timely implementation of changes in compliance with APQP standards.
  • Act as the primary contact for suppliers, fostering strong relationships and proactively resolving issues.
  • Drive continuous improvements in supplier performance to meet project scheduling and quality goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and resolve technical and logistical challenges.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of modifications and their impact to optimize production schedules.
  • Deliver regular status reports to project management on supplier progress and risks.
  • Coordinate with the project team to support the industrialization phases, focusing on new product launches and APQP milestones.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or related discipline.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and supplier challenges.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities focused on driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work onsite (no teleworking option).
  • Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in plastic and sheet metal parts to ensure technical expertise and familiarity with material processing and manufacturing standards.

Language Skills

  • Proficient in English and/or French to enable seamless communication with international teams and suppliers.
