The Tires Group Sector is responsible for tire sales worldwide. Within the Business Area Tires RE EMEA and with MENA locations in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco, we serve, in close cooperation with our partner network, our customers by selling multi-brand passenger light vehicle tires, truck tires and specialty tires in over 20 countries of the region.
About the Position :
The role requires a blend of technical passenger car and truck tire expertise with business acumen. On one hand supporting (internal/External) customers regarding all technical aspects and on the other hand, responsible for driving market growth by identifying sales opportunities and achieving the commercial business goals.
- Provides Technical Product Services/Training to internal/external customers to support Sales & Marketing.
- Product Performance Monitoring and reporting of product performance in relation to market requirements.
- Performs Tire inspections and establishes local warranty/complaint handling procedures in accordance with Continental's adjustment policy.
- Works closely with customers to meet technical needs and provide solutions for their required tire applications.
- Identifies new market, product, and sales opportunities.
- Provides forecasting for new and potential accounts and initiates and participates actively in projects.
- Partners with management to measure the business' current market share and develop strategic plans to achieve business goals and maximize market penetration.
- Monitors and evaluates market and industry trends through frequent customer visits and participating in meetings and events relevant to the business.
Ideal Profile / Qualifications:
- Education / Certification
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Several years technical working experience in the tire industry or tire related automotive industry.
- Hands-on mentality and strong customer orientation and team collaboration.
- Ability to sell products and solutions effectively.
- Strong IT affinity (Excel, PPT), SAP and Power BI experience.
- Fluent Arabic, French and English language.
- Analytical skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills (including presentation).
- Frequent traveling is part of this role throughout Algeria and abroad (50%).
