Ready to build a brand from the ground up in one of North Africa's most exciting growth markets?

The Advocate Group is proud to be partnering exclusively with Monster Energy on the appointment of a Business Manager for Algeria. This is a newly created role tied directly to Monster's commercial launch in the market this October, and it puts you at the centre of everything from bottler relationship to in store execution. You'll be the vital link between Monster Energy, its distribution partner, and the wider MENA commercial team, owning the numbers and shaping how the brand lands in a brand new territory.

What you'll be doing:

Owning the Algeria launch plan, driving monthly sell in and sell out volume against target from day one
Building and managing the relationship with Monster's distribution/bottler partner, agreeing KPIs and cascading them to the field teams
Reviewing P&L performance and identifying commercial actions to protect and grow profitability
Leading joint business planning with the bottler, working cross functionally with internal teams and the wider MENA support function
Feeding into NPD and promotional planning based on market data and sales analysis
Controlling in market execution, from POS and cooler placement to merchandising standards across all channels
Owning Algeria's business planning, forecasting and reporting cadence as the market beds in

What we're looking for:

Around 5 years' FMCG sales experience, ideally in beverages, with exposure to key account and field sales management
Experience managing and influencing a distribution partner or bottler system, not just direct to customer sales
Confidence owning a P&L, with a solid grasp of commercial finance
Comfortable operating in an international matrix organisation
Fluent in French and English
A genuine appetite for building something new, this is a launch, not a steady state role
