Position Overview

The Multimedia Communications Specialist is responsible for producing engaging, high-quality visual and digital content that showcases the programs, activities, and impact of
World Learning Algeria.
This role combines professional video production, photography, editing, and
strategic social-media content creation
to strengthen brand visibility and engagement across digital platforms. The Specialist translates World Learning's work into compelling visual stories tailored for social media and professional audiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Content Creation (Core Responsibility)

• Create engaging, platform-specific content for
  Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Stories
  .
• Plan, produce, and edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for social media performance.
• Develop visually compelling reels, short clips, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Write short captions and on-screen text aligned with World Learning's tone and messaging.
• Monitor trends and formats to keep content relevant, dynamic, and engaging.

2. Video Content Production

• Plan, film, and edit high-quality video content using
  professional filming equipment
  .
• Capture interviews, training moments, and event footage with proper framing, lighting, and sound.
• Produce promotional and informational videos that support programs, partnerships, and campaigns.

3. Photography & Visual Content

• Capture professional-quality photographs.
• Edit and retouch images for digital platforms while maintaining a clean, natural style.
• Organize and maintain a structured photo and video content library.

4. Content Strategy & Storytelling

• Develop visual storytelling concepts that highlight learning experiences, partnerships, and impact.
• Translate training activities and institutional work into engaging, audience-focused narratives.
• Contribute creative ideas to content calendars and campaign planning.

5. Coordination & Planning

• Coordinate content capture with the Director, Operations, and Training teams.
• Attend trainings, events, and site activities to produce timely content.
• Prepare shot lists and basic production plans when needed.

6. Equipment & Quality Management

• Operate and maintain professional filming and photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, microphones, and lighting.
• Ensure consistent technical and visual quality across all content.
• Manage file storage, backups, and digital assets.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Experience (Required)

• Proven experience creating
  social-media content
  for organizations, brands, or institutions.
• Demonstrated experience in professional video filming, photography, and editing.
• Experience producing content specifically for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with professional cameras and audiovisual equipment.
• Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
• Strong photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent).
• Ability to adapt content formats to different platforms and audiences.

Languages

• English required.
• French strongly preferred.
