PURPOSE :

The Digital Development Manager oversees the end-to-end development lifecycle of mobile and web applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric solutions that meet business objectives and technological standards.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Team Leadership
    : Manage and lead a team of developers, designers, and QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management
    : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mobile and web application projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Requirement Analysis
    : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable development plans and technical specifications.
  • Technical Oversight
    : Provide technical oversight and guidance on mobile and web application development, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
  • Quality Assurance
    : Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and performance optimization, to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of applications.
  • Vendor Management
    : Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring alignment with project goals, contractual obligations, and service level agreements.
  • Continuous Improvement
    : Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance development processes, efficiency, and product quality.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge :

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of mobile and web application development technologies, frameworks, and best practices like Spring framework, React JS, flutter, Android, ….
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure Devops).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Minimum Entry Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
