About This Opportunity
As a Contract Manager within the EMEA Commercial Team based in Algeria, you will lead contract and commercial negotiations on large-scale sales opportunities across East-North Africa and neighboring regions. Acting as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, you will ensure compliance with Ericsson's processes, safeguard company interests, and secure profitable outcomes. You will be part of a diverse international team of Contract Managers across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, reporting directly to the regional Hub Head for NME & ENA. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will shape customer trust, business performance, and long-term success.

What you'll do

Contract Strategy & Negotiations

  • Develop and drive long-term contracting strategies aligned with business objectives and customer profiles.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize complex agreements involving hardware, software, services, and digital transformation.
  • Lead negotiations to secure profitability, mitigate risks, and safeguard Ericsson's rights.

Contract Execution & Governance

  • Ensure proper sign-off and adherence to obligations throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Monitor performance, manage compliance, handle disputes, and oversee change control and closure.
  • Build and maintain a local contract database to drive governance, risk prioritization, and effective decision-making.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with KAMs, delivery, legal, finance, and business control to drive margins, working capital, and upsell.
  • Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders and customers, combining commercial acumen with negotiation expertise.
  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the EMEA Contract Management community.

What you bring

  • Graduate degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Contract Management, Project Management, or Sales in B2B enterprise, ideally telecom/IT.
  • Strong record in negotiating complex public and private sector contracts.
  • Solid understanding of commercial risk, contract terms, and financial implications.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and problem-solving ability.
  • Fluent in French and English; other languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools; WorldCC/IACCM certification is a plus.
