Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a Process Engineer to work in Algeria on a 28x28 rotation.The role will be working for a major international operator, based on site in Algeria on a long term renewable contract. You will be paid a NET daily rate, flights and all in country costs will be paid by the client. Requirements:(Hons) or BEng or direct equivalent in Chemical Engineering.Minimum of 15 years process engineering industry experience in Oil and Gas Projects.Candidates required a technical background in Process Engineering discipline with standalone abilities in Engineering execution, preparing scopes of work and deliverables.Experience in the whole project lifecycle; planning, design & executionProven project management skillsProven experience in a culturally diverse operation – ideally having worked for an IOC Operator in a Joint Venture with NOC(s)Good presentation, communication and written skills. Logic thinking and analytical skills.French and/or Arabic language skills are an advantage.Role Duties:The Process engineer is responsible for safely delivering projects in compliance with design basis, budget and schedule.Projects are executed in compliance with existing Algerian process risk management guidelines.Execute Process Engineering work for Safety, Operability and Maintenance Projects.Execute Process Engineering work for Major Engineering Projects.Conducting feasibility studies and developing design bases in support of new project development.Support Operational Support Engineer Activities which require regular liaison with production & maintenance, and proposing and reviewing solutions to operational problems.
