This role focuses on two main areas: managing and transforming data from multiple sources into structured formats for analysis, and designing, supporting, and maintaining cloud computing environments. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, data infrastructure, and digital solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesData Management:Organize, collect, process, and store data from multiple sourcesTransform raw, unstructured data into usable formats for analysisPerform data mapping and quality control across one or more data sourcesAssemble large, complex datasets meeting business requirementsSupport data loading, migration, and retrieval tasksAdvise on data governance, policies, roles, and dataflowAssess company data and infrastructure environments and propose improvementsWork with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams to resolve data-related technical issuesInfrastructure & Cloud Support:Design, plan, manage, maintain, and support cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure digital applications run efficiently on cloud infrastructureDeploy applications using container technologies such as Docker and KubernetesMaintain existing databases (SQL, NoSQL, Postgres) and related infrastructureDebug technical issues in complex stacks involving virtualization, containers, and microservicesUse API knowledge to design RESTful services and integrate them with existing data providersOperate, develop, test, and implement infrastructure systems and hardware with automation in mindInstall and configure IoT Agora solutions, including network setup and SDK implementationSupport on-premises applications, including licensing, installation, and configurationMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all activitiesParticipate in out-of-office on-call rotations as requiredGain experience with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Docker, and Microsoft AzureWork with OSDU community code and Schlumberger Enterprise Data Management (EDM) workflowsWhat We OfferHands-on experience with cloud computing, data infrastructure, and digital applicationsMentoring from experienced engineers and IT specialistsExposure to real-world projects and customer-facing tasksCareer development opportunities in data engineering and cloud technologiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentQualifications & ExperienceEngineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, or related fieldBasic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, containers, and data managementFamiliarity with SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux/UNIX environments is a plusAnalytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsGood communication and teamwork abilitiesMotivation to learn and grow in data and infrastructure engineering
