Role Purpose:
Bunge is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager Consultant to spearhead the development and expansion of our specialty fats business across Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. This consulting engagement focuses on driving active marketing and commercial efforts to establish Bunge as a leading oils and fats supplier in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager Consultant, you will be instrumental in:

  • Business Development: Proactively identifying potential clients, initiating marketing efforts, and engaging in calling activities, regular client meetings, and relationship building to generate new business.
  • Market Leadership: Building strong client trust to secure new business and positioning BLC as a premier supplier of oils and fats in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
  • Competitive Edge: Leveraging Bunge's competitive advantages, including its reputation, comprehensive product portfolio, and extensive solutions, to outperform competitors and gain significant market share.
  • Client Engagement (45%): Regularly meeting with targeted and existing clients to understand their specific oil and fat requirements, propose tailored Bunge solutions, and consistently generate new business opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination (15%): Collaborating closely with internal teams such such as Applications and Technical Support, Customer Service, and Finance/Compliance to ensure seamless client-related activities.
  • Partner Management (10%): Working in conjunction with Bunge distributors and agents to coordinate and execute effective marketing and commercial strategies throughout the region.
  • Commercial Operations (10%): Offering competitive pricing and facilitating the timely delivery of samples to clients for thorough assessment and testing.
  • Strategic Planning (5%): Preparing and executing comprehensive annual budgets and commercial plans for the assigned territory.
  • Performance Reporting (5%): Compiling internal sales reports and actively participating in calls and meetings to review sales performance and commercial activities.
  • CRM Management (5%): Maintaining detailed records of client visits and interactions within the CRM system, ensuring an up-to-date sales pipeline and accurate sales estimates.
  • Administrative Oversight (5%): Managing administrative tasks related to client account setup, compliance checks, and payment terms.

Key Relationships & Stakeholders:

  • External: All clients, potential clients, and other market stakeholders in Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.
  • Internal: Regional management, other Sales Managers, and various internal departments including Applications and Technical Support, Customer Service, and Finance/Compliance.

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in business development or commercial roles.
  • Required: Direct and relevant experience within the oils and fats industry.
