Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Engineer with a solid foundation in security principles and a strong desire to work across infrastructure, networks, systems, and application security. You will support both operational security work and teach core cybersecurity topics to interns during our training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

● Monitor, analyze, and improve the security posture of our network, servers, and internal systems.

● Perform vulnerability assessments, configuration reviews, and risk analysis.

● Assist in incident response, including detection, investigation, and remediation.

● Collaborate with internal teams to implement security best practices across development and operations.

● Build scripts, tools, and documentation to support security automation and monitoring.

● Contribute to training sessions and workshops for interns in foundational cybersecurity topics.

Required Qualifications:

● Good understanding of core cybersecurity concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, mitigation strategies).

● Familiarity with Linux environments and basic system administration.

● Foundational knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VLANs) and common protocols.

● Experience with one scripting language (Python, Bash, or similar).

● Curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to learn fast in a real production environment.

● Any personal projects, labs, CTF participation, GitHub repos, or security-related coursework.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Familiarity with security tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or SIEM platforms.

● Exposure to cloud security concepts or virtualization technologies.

● Interest in teaching and communicating technical concepts clearly.

● Basic understanding of secure coding practices or DevSecOps workflows.
