Summary:

  • Maintains full responsibility of Sales & Marketing activities for the relative Therapeutic Area
  • lead the TA commercial operations and drive the achievement of market objectives.
  • Provides strategy & franchise management with focus on excellence in implementation and execution.
  • Lead and develop talents.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate labeling update submissions with regulatory experts and follow-up on approval.
  • Update current labels to comply with the latest approved labeling product information.

Business performance:

  • Deliver performance by increasing the volume, value growth in accordance with set goals and strategies.
  • Develop realistic and achievable monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and volume objectives with a Business Unit Manager
  • Allocate budget in proportion to impact on sales.
  • Define & develop Brand planning.
  • Ensures proper definition and implementation of the commercial, and sales plans by maximizing sales force measures as the best in relation to industry trends.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources in line with Business Unit strategy and priorities.
  • Monitor the organization of all pre-launch / launch activities for new products within the franchise.
  • In conjunction with policy guidelines create incentive programs to meet the sales targets Develop and execute contingency plans necessary to meet changes in the environment
  • Personally intervene and resolve complex/ sensitive business and individual issues.
  • Identify potential risks and pro-actively build right solutions to mitigate them.

Coordination & Communication:

  • Routinely visits coaching with sales team and KOL management.
  • Promote and build strong local KOL in critical areas in partnership with other departments.
  • Ensure implementation of strategies and tactical plans in line with country and Therapeutic Areas strategies
  • Core member in Country Value Team (CVT) in TA
  • Ensure alignment of strategy operations with other departments
  • Demonstrates strong skills working with Parent Company and international stakeholders.

Build capabilities and motivated workforce:

  • Ensure continuous development of sales team for a key and critical role.
  • Establish and regularly review individual performance and development al expectations with Sales team.
  • Hire and retain desired talent through an effective development and engagement.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge building and sharing across the business

Compliance responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and, where applicable, appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors
  • Ensure HCC and legal requirements (Fair Market Value, Transfer of Value rules, Promotional Materials rules) are fully understood, appropriately managed and, where applicable, complied when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors
  • Ensure inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of recent CV and individualized Job Description

Qualifications

Experience required:

  • MBA from renowned institution/university is an advantage.
  • 10 years of total experience
  • Solid Sales & Marketing experience as franchise or head marketing.
  • Excellent in-depth knowledge of key business and hospital market
  • Exposure to Hematology is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker, innovative, able to drive simultaneous initiatives Agility and capacity to travel though national territory: ability to handle large territory.
  • Agility in business analysis and figures (anticipate stock coverage, demand analysis...)
  • Language: English verbal & written, French, Arabic
