Role Description The Assistant de recherche is a full-time, on-site role based at the University of El Oued in El Oued, Algeria. This role involves supporting research projects through literature reviews, data collection, and the preparation of research materials and documentation. The assistant collaborates with faculty and research teams, contributes to experiment setup and implementation, and helps maintain laboratory equipment and resources where applicable. Daily tasks include organizing and analyzing data, assisting with drafting reports, articles, and presentations, and ensuring adherence to research protocols and ethical standards. The role also requires participation in team meetings, contributing to project planning, and coordinating administrative aspects of research activities.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Research and Analytical Skills to support data collection, interpretation, and problem-solving across diverse projects.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with research teams, prepare clear documentation, and present findings.
• Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills to assist with experiments, handle equipment safely, and follow established procedures when working in lab environments.
• Candidates should possess Data Analysis skills to manage datasets, apply appropriate analysis methods, and contribute to evidence-based conclusions.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related field; familiarity with research methodologies; and proficiency in common office and data software tools.
• Ability to work accurately, follow protocols, manage time effectively, and maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality in research activities.
• Knowledge of academic publishing practices and prior experience in university or research settings are considered an advantage.
