Role Description The Comptable is a full-time, on-site role based at Park Mall Setif in Setif, Algeria. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and ensuring accurate and timely entries for the mall’s commercial and hospitality activities. The Comptable prepares and reviews invoices, reconciles bank statements, supports budgeting and financial reporting, and helps monitor expenses and revenues for different departments. The role also involves assisting with monthly and annual closing processes, supporting internal controls, collaborating with management and external partners, and ensuring compliance with local accounting and tax regulations. The Comptable works closely with operational teams to provide clear financial information that supports decision-making and efficient mall management. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations, manage invoices, and support budgeting and cost control.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in handling financial data, and strong organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to interpret financial information for operational teams.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with finance, retail, and hotel staff in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of Algerian accounting standards and tax regulations is highly beneficial.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; prior experience in retail, mall management, or hospitality is an advantage.
