• Minimum 5 years concrete construction experience
• Experience on various concrete mix types and uses
• Must be familiar with tools for trade
• In depth knowledge of standard prep work practices
• Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
• Must adhere to our safe work practices and procedures
• Heavy lifting ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to work long hours
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
• Ability to be a visible team-player and have excellent interpersonal skill Responsibilities
• Builds, erects and set forms for various concrete structures and foundations
• Shovel concrete into forms and/or wall panels
• Prep for various types of pours including but not limited to sidewalks, curbs, stairs, walkways, loading docks, accessibility ramps, patios and driveways
• Assists with site prep work as necessary
• Performs duties of cutting and placing reinforcing wire mesh, preparing appropriate sand and cement mixtures and placing, pouring and rough levelling of concrete
• Smooth and finish concrete by floating, troweling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications
