Job Description
Key Responsibilities
& Duties 1.
Oil-based Mud Cuttings Treatment and Dryer Operation: In view of the characteristics of oil-based mud cuttings, before operating the dryer, conduct a no-load test run to confirm it is in normal condition. Then, feed the cuttings into the dryer at a steady speed and monitor the drying effect in real time. Ensure the oil content of the dried cuttings is ≤ 5% and prevent substandard treatment caused by improper parameters. 2.
Dryer Maintenance: Before operation, check the sealing performance of the dryer drum, transmission components (bearings, gears) and lubrication status, and clean the residual cuttings inside the drum. After operation, clean the surface and interior of the equipment, replace parts regularly, etc., and record the maintenance status. If faults such as abnormal noise or oil leakage are found, stop the machine for handling in a timely manner; report to professional maintenance personnel if the faults cannot be resolved. 3.
Cuttings Transfer and Impermeable Cloth Laying: Transfer the dried cuttings to the designated drying pit using special equipment (such as forklifts, conveyor belts), and avoid spillage during the transfer process. Lay impermeable cloth with a thickness of ≥ 1.5mm in advance in the drying pit and cuttings treatment area, and seal the joints with hot-melt welding. Regularly check whether the impermeable cloth is damaged; if holes are found, repair them immediately to prevent oil or sewage from seeping into the soil. 4.
Inspection and Maintenance of Auxiliary Equipment: Before daily operation, check the electrical circuits, hydraulic systems and sealing status of auxiliary equipment such as transfer pumps and wastewater treatment equipment, and identify problems such as leakage and jamming. After operation, clean the auxiliary equipment, replace worn parts (such as pump body sealing rings), record the operation faults of the equipment, and assist in completing maintenance and commissioning to ensure the auxiliary equipment operates in coordination with the main equipment.
• 5.
On-site Waste Liquid Treatment, Recycling and Data Recording: Recycle the waste liquid generated during the treatment process into the drilling system or discharge it into the designated pipe network; illegal discharge is strictly prohibited. Fill in the Daily Report of Drilling Fluid Waste Treatment every day, which includes dryer parameters, cuttings treatment volume, product indicators (oil content), waste liquid treatment volume and recycling status, to ensure the data is true and traceable. Job Qualifications & Requirements
• Education & Major: Senior high school diploma or above; priority given to those with majors in petroleum/environmental/mechanical/chemical engineering or related fields.
• Core
Skills:
Capable of independently operating equipment such as dryers and transfer pumps; basic mechanical maintenance knowledge (e.g., replacing seals); understanding of environmental protection standards; proficient in standard filling of daily treatment data reports.
• Experience Requirement: 3+ year of relevant work experience (priority to those with dryer operation experience); strong learning ability required for candidates without experience.
• Preferred Certificates: Holders of special operation certificates, equipment operation certificates, or HSE training certificates are preferred. 5.
