Our established Transaction Services service line is expanding & looking for ambitious and commercially minded Associates to join in Algiers. As an Associate, you will play a significant role in supporting the Transaction Services team in delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of clients, including prestigious Private Equity firms and Corporates.
In this position, you will work closely with experienced professionals including Managing Directors, Directors, and Senior Associates, contributing to the execution of financial due diligence and advisory projects. You will be involved throughout the entire deal process, tackling both buy-side and sell-side tasks while gaining invaluable experience in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
As you become an integral part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to enhance your professional skills and contribute to the growth of Interpath Advisory.
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of Transaction Services engagements, including assisting in the preparation of buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence (FDD) reports. Conduct historical performance analysis to assess the financial standing of clients. Participate in the evaluation of Quality of Earnings to identify one-off income costs. Support analyses related to Net Working Capital (NWC). Aid in the identification of debt-like items through comprehensive balance sheet reviews. Contribute to the assessment of targets’ forecasts and potential financial risks. Engage in meetings and discussions with clients and target company management, assisting the team in day-to-day FDD execution tasks. Contribute to business development activity, including market research, proposals and internal initiatives. Continue to develop your technical knowledge and stay up to date with transaction trends and market activity. Graduate degree in accounting, business, finance, economics, or a related field. Internship experience in Audit, Transaction Services, M&A, or Private Equity is highly desirable and audit candidates with an interest in moving into a Deals environment are encouraged to apply. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail combined with a strong understanding of financial statements Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating a proactive approach. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report writing.
