1.     Project Site: SCT Algeria, Mostaganem CCPP

2.       Job position: QA/QC E&I Inspector

3.       Monthly salary: (minimum - maximum) 2,000 ~ 2,300 USD

4.       Contract period: 1 year renewable (Probation 3 months renewable)

5.       Working days: 10H/day, 6 days/week

6.       Weekdays overtime: 1.5 times/holidays Overtime: 2.0 times

7.       One month of paid leave (inclusive of all holidays falling within the leave period) per annum due on completion of 12 months service

8.       Accommodation (Two (2) persons in one room) / Food / Transportation provided by the company 

9.     Mobilization start date: as soon as possible (First apply for Business Visa)

 

Requirements of Inspector
* College Graduate in Electrical Engineer 
* Previous construction experience within the power plant industry
* Previous exposure to high voltage electrical installation including switchgear and electric drives
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable role
* A working knowledge of IEC/IEEE/BS/ISO/API codes and standards relating to electrical and instrumentation work
* Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and regulations/legislation relating to electrical and instrumentation work
* Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package. Familiar with other computer packages
* Ability to perform well under pressure
 
Roles of E&I inspectors
* Conducts surveillance inspections, on-site verification and inspection activities on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site in accordance with the Specifications/Contract Requirements, method of statement, and inspection and test plan.
* Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.
* Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes non-conformances reports and reports to the Quality Manager.
* Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.
* Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
* Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications.
* Checks power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system.
* Checks cable laying and cable identification.
* Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
* Performs punch-listing operations.
* Checks installation of instruments.
* Performs test communication functionalities.
