General Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Inside Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, helping to manage client relationships alongside the Senior Sales Executive, assisting with administration in order to achieve sales targets set by the organization and given territory. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication skills to help turn contacts into leads.

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Primarily responsible for Ontario market and designated customers dictated by Senior Sales Executive (SSE) for outreach
  • Generating and researching contact lists for outreach
  • Researching and gathering information on target industries and individuals for outreach
  • Cold calling
  • Emailing or reaching out through various communication channels to initiate contact
  • Turning contacts into leads, which will be filtered SSE for follow-up
  • Prioritize high-potential leads and ensure timely handoff to SSE once initial interest is established
  • Maintain a 
    daily/weekly call and outreach quota
     (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches) to ensure steady pipeline development
  • Log all outreach activities and outcomes in CRM (NetSuite) to track effectiveness and ensure follow-ups are not missed
  • Develop and continuously update a 
    personal prospecting playbook
     including call scripts, email templates, and objection-handling techniques

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the
    first impression of the company
     by ensuring all outreach is professional, compelling, and aligned with brand messaging
  • Deliver introductory product overviews to prospects, creating curiosity and opening the door for SSE to provide in-depth solutions
  • Conduct 
    qualification calls
     to gather key information (budget, timeline, needs, decision-makers) before SSE engagement
  • Act as a liaison between Senior Sales Executive (SSE) and customer by providing quotations on projects using our in-house CRM (NetSuite)
  • Help to build and maintain relationships with existing clients
  • Help to pull company collateral together (presentations etc.) to send out to new and existing customers and assist SSE
  • Understand customer needs, preferences and pain points
  • Provide SSE with sales support to address any customer issues or inquiries; and help provide solutions
  • Assist with booking appointments for SSE to visit customers
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve or add to our product line, services and sales processes
  • Participate in 
    weekly pipeline reviews
     with SSE to ensure consistent progress on new business generation
  • Provide detailed reports on outreach metrics (calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, leads qualified) to support sales strategy
  • Regularly review conversion ratios (contact-to-lead, lead-to-meeting) and refine prospecting approach accordingly

Product or Service Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services
  • Communicate our product features, benefits and value propositions to clients

Market Research

  • Help to monitor industry trends, competitors and market dynamics
  • Identify opportunities for growth and adapting strategies accordingly

Sales Strategy and Development

  • Help to identify new markets, segments or niches to explore
  • Liaise with internal teams when needed
  • Stay current with prospecting tools, CRM best practices, and outreach strategies to maximize efficiency
  • Share feedback on lead quality and outreach challenges with SSE and sales management, to refine targeting strategy
  • Engage in role-plays and coaching sessions to continually improve call effectiveness and lead qualification

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • College or University degrees would be an asset
