Afia International Algeria is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
. Lead Health, Safety & Environment activities across the plant.
. Supervise and support HSE team.
. Implement and monitor HSE systems, procedures, and compliance with local regulations.
. Drive continuous improvement in occupational health and safety standards.
. Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and ensure proper control measures.
. Oversee environmental impact reduction (energy, water, waste management).
. Coordinate emergency drills and foster a strong safety culture across the site.
Qualifications & Experience:
. Master's degree in Health & Safety or a related technical field.
. NEBOSH International General Certificate preferred.
. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
. Solid knowledge of HSE legislation, ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards
. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
