Founding Engineer (CTO-track) / Interim CTO — PARAD (Algiers | Hybrid | Part-time)
Job description
PARAD is building a Rewarded Attention Engine for telcos: we certify real engagement (view + share validation) and reward users instantly with real mobile credits — turning attention into a measurable, fraud-resistant growth channel.
We launched a beta at ASC 2025. Next milestone: a real-credit pilot with a telco partner (starting with Djezzy) for Ramadan 2026.
We're hiring a hands-on founding engineer on a CTO track — someone who can ship fast, design for trust, and build the technical backbone of the pilot.
What you'll build (next 8–12 weeks)
• A production-grade engagement certification pipeline (view ≥10s, share validation, device/session logic).
• A fraud-resistant reward ledger (auditable events, rate limits, anomaly detection).
• A scalable backend + admin console for partners: campaign setup, reporting, payouts, reconciliation.
• Observability + security basics: logs, alerts, uptime, incident playbooks.
• Integration readiness for telco operations (batch or API-based crediting, reconciliation workflows).
Responsibilities
• Own the architecture end-to-end (web app + backend + data + ops).
• Build fast but correctly: auditability, security, privacy, reliability.
• Work directly with the founder on product decisions, partner constraints, and roadmap.
• Set technical standards and recruit future engineers once product/partner fit is proven.
Ideal profile
• Strong full-stack engineering background (you can ship independently).
• Experience with payments/ledger/event systems, fraud/abuse prevention, or adtech attribution is a plus.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and tight timelines.
• Pragmatic: choose the simplest stack that gets us to a reliable pilot.
Engagement model (transparent & fair)
• Part-time / hybrid to start (e.g., 15–25h/week), with the option to scale to full-time as the pilot locks.
• Compensation combines cash (within pre-seed limits) + meaningful equity, structured with vesting.
• CTO-track is milestone-based, not a promise on day one:
• Title/equity step-up once we hit pilot-readiness + partner integration + stability KPIs.
Precautions (for PARAD and for you)
To protect both sides, we start with:
• A short paid trial sprint (2–4 weeks) with clear deliverables.
• Standard NDA + IP assignment.
• Clear decision rights and an agreed scope for the pilot.
