SAP S/4HANA Fiori Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile SAP S/4HANA Fiori Consultant who combines strong functional and technical expertise in Fiori/UI5 development with solid ABAP programming skills and a working knowledge of SAP Basis/administration (system monitoring, transport management, performance tuning).

The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, build, and maintain modern Fiori applications and support the SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Fiori / UI5

• Design, develop and customize SAP Fiori applications (standard and custom) in S/4HANA.
• Configure SAP Fiori Launchpad: catalogs, groups, roles, and tiles.
• Develop SAPUI5 applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and OData services.
• Perform performance tuning and responsive design adjustments.

ABAP Development

• Create and enhance ABAP programs, CDS views, OData services, and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) objects.
• Implement user exits, BADI enhancements, and custom reports.
• Ensure adherence to ABAP development standards and best practices.

SAP Basis / Administration (OD Admin)

• Support system landscape maintenance (client copies, transports, patches).
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application/server issues.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for system upgrades, backups, and security compliance.
• Manage user/role administration and authorizations as needed.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Work in Agile/Scrum or traditional project environments and support testing/UAT.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1–5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Fiori/UI5 development.
• Solid ABAP programming experience, including CDS views and OData services.
• Hands-on SAP Basis/administration exposure (system monitoring, transport management, performance analysis).

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and OData/REST.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, RAP, and SAP Gateway.
• Familiarity with SAP security and role concepts.
• Understanding of transport management system (TMS), system refresh, and performance tuning.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.

Preferred

• SAP S/4HANA certification (Fiori/UI5 or ABAP) is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins) or cloud platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS) desirable.
