Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant based in Algiers, In this role, the Accountant will manage and oversee daily financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and accounting standards. The role involves reconciling accounts, managing budgets, processing payroll, and producing financial reports for stakeholders. Additionally, the Accountant will provide support during audits and assist in improving financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and relevant regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid working environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred
