Siemens Healthineers Oncology Services Algeria is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in Algiers.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, and month-end closings. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in alignment with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices (local and international), ensuring correct coding and required approvals

• Schedule and process payments via checks or wire transfers

• Manage supplier advances and monitor settlements

• Handle bank domiciliation procedures and oversee import-related transactions

• Monitor bank accounts, flag overdue and past-due items, and coordinate initial clarifications with customers or vendors

• Prepare cash flow planning reports and projections

• Support financial accounting management with data analysis and reporting

• Record a variety of business transactions in accordance with the chart of accounts and applicable accounting standards

• Reconcile accounts using internal tools and systems

• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accrual preparation and account reconciliations

• Act as a first point of contact for accounting-related queries

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience

• Solid understanding of accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is an advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a plus

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Effective communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

• Fluency in English is required
