About the Job
British School Algiers is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the IT department, you will play an essential role in managing the IT Helpdesk and supporting the day-to-day IT needs of both staff and students, ensuring the smooth operation of all tech-related services.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to staff and students across all school devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other technological equipment.
Support classroom technology and online learning platforms.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement technology solutions and improvements.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets and service requests.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
English proficiency is required to effectively communicate with staff and students.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for education and technology.
