Job Purpose

The Recruitment Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily recruitment activities to ensure efficient and timely hiring of qualified candidates. The role involves supervising recruiters, ensuring adherence to company recruitment procedures, and supporting the HR Manager in achieving staffing goals in line with organizational needs and Algerian labor regulations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise the recruitment team and ensure smooth execution of all recruitment activities.
  • Coordinate the full recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
  • Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Screen and evaluate candidate applications to ensure alignment with job requirements.
  • Organize and participate in interviews and selection committees when needed.
  • Maintain and update the candidate database and recruitment reports.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support the implementation of employer branding initiatives and represent the company at job fairs or recruitment events.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to recruiters to enhance team performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior recruiter role.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques, sourcing tools, and Algerian labor legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Fluency in Arabic and French; English is an asset.
