Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Support Specialist, located in Adrar. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, assisting with desktop computer setups, and managing help desk support. Day-to-day tasks will include responding to technical inquiries, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.

Qualifications

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • User support:
     Providing technical assistance to users through various communication channels.
  • Desktop/laptop deployment and configuration:
     Setting up and standardizing Windows 10 machines.
  • Helpdesk management:
     Utilizing the company's SharePoint system to manage and track support tickets.
  • User and mailbox creation:
     Creating user accounts in Active Directory and corresponding mailboxes on Exchange Server.
  • Access control:
     Granting appropriate access rights to shared folders.
  • IT asset management:
     Utilizing SCCM to manage and deploy software across the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Printer maintenance:
     Ensuring the proper functioning of various printer brands.
  • Windows migration:
     Participating in the migration process from older Windows versions to Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Inventory and consumable management:
     Keeping track of IT equipment and managing supplies like printer ink and paper.
  • Experience with Desktop Computers and Information Technology systems
  • Help Desk Support skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with network infrastructures is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
