Job Purpose / Scope:
The CSP Assistant supports the execution of customer and shopper marketing plans to drive brand performance and achieve company sales targets. The role ensures flawless implementation of brand/category activities across customer channels and shoppers, in line with the annual Customer Marketing Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly price checks across all channels (MT, Retail, WS) and share reports.
- Perform competitor reviews and share insights.
- Prepare and analyze brand sales data ; follow up on primary and secondary sales versus targets.
- Plan and execute shopper activities (POSM, branding, visibility) with Shopper Marketing team.
- Support merchandising team with tools and enablers.
- Define and implement trade activities: activations, promotions, and packs.
- Ensure perfect execution of activations for Modern Trade (MT) & General Trade (GT) channels.
- Communicate customer marketing operations to field teams and support product launches (presentations, events, materials, samples).
- Manage gifts distribution and prepare sales plans for the Sales team.
- Spend minimum 30% of time in the field to follow up merchandising and visibility plans.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making (SAP, SAS, Excel).
- Knowledge of CATMAN, Shopper Marketing, and NRM.
- Growth mindset, team management, customer and consumer focus.
- Accountability, bias for action, and strategic influencing.
- Strong collaboration with Marketing, CBD/CD Directors, and Operations teams.
KPIs / Success Metrics:
- Win the Shelf (share of shelf, TDP)
- Dynamic allocation (GM/UOM, NRM, Shopper BMI)
- Forecast accuracy and bias
