HR Business Partner

We're seeking a commercially minded
HR Business Partner
to support plant and commercial leaders in a fast-moving FMCG environment. You'll translate strategy into practical people plans across workforce planning, capability building, performance, employee relations and change—driving measurable impact on safety, quality, service and cost.
What you'll do
- Partner with Plant/Operations and Sales leaders to align org design, workforce planning and capability needs with the business plan.
- Lead
employee relations & social dialogue
: manage union/partner relations, negotiations and conflict prevention; ensure full compliance with Algerian labour law. - Own
performance & talent
cycles (objective-setting, calibration, succession, career paths); coach managers and build leadership capability. - Drive
recruitment & onboarding
for technical, operational and commercial roles; champion inclusion and a strong culture. - Support
C&B
(job architecture, benchmarks, reviews) in partnership with Group rewards. - Lead/change-manage HR projects: restructuring, ramp-ups, continuous improvement, HR process digitisation.
- Ensure
HR governance
: policies, audits, KPIs/dashboards, data integrity and HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors/Sage). - Mentor and elevate the site HR team.
What you'll bring
- 7–12 years' HR experience with
at least 3 years in an HRBP role
in FMCG/industrial manufacturing. - Proven ER/IR expertise and hands-on experience with unions/social partners.
- Track record building performance management, talent pipelines and learning programs that move the dial.
- Strong data literacy; confident with HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors/Sage/MS Dynamics) and advanced Excel.
- Languages:
French & Arabic (fluent)

an advantage. - Degree in HR, Business, Psychology or related;
MBA
a plus.
