Waste Water Treatment Supervisor

Description 

To carry out the necessary studies for the establishment of the Environmental Management System, its execution in accordance with the System Policy and its continuous development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly factory environmental impact report.
• Organizing internal environmental audits and conducting inspections. 
• Follow up the detected nonconformities by applying procedures to eliminate them. 
• Filing internal audit and audit reports and documents. 
• Make the necessary organization to determine environmental goals and objectives and to take action plans, to ensure that the environmental aspects, environmental risk assessment, risks and opportunities of the departments are determined.
• Organizing environmental management review meetings and attending factory meetings.
• Identify the root causes of environmental problems and nonconformities together with department managers and prepare reports. 
• Ensuring that the municipal wastes from the factory are collected by the municipality and that packaging wastes, process wastes and other wastes are sent to licensed companies.
• Close Follow up to changes in laws, regulations and standards and ensure their implementation. 
• Follow up environmental complaints and contribute to their resolution in accordance with the procedure. 
• Ensure that the waste is not kept in the warehouse for more than 6 months and sent to the licensed recycling/disposal facility. ᴧ 
• Continuously control environmental practices by conducting periodic environmental controls, and to ensure the implementation of procedures and instructions. 
• Plan the prevention of environmental accidents and potential risks, emergency and crisis management exercises, together with the chief of occupational safety. 
• Act in accordance with the policies, procedures and instructions of the Integrated System. 

Qualification 

• Bachelor's degree in production engineering or relevant field.
• Language qualification in French and preferable English as well. 
• 4 years' relevant experience in Waste Water or industry
