Field Service Manager - Cementing
(Oil & Gas Onshore/Offshore) based in
Hassi Messaoud, Algeria.
Job Overview:
Identify, prioritize and pursue new and existing opportunities for business development with clients/ partners. Ensure smooth and effect running of day to day operations in the designate service/ country.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility of safety and welfare of operational personnel.
- Ensuring the customer gets the highest possible standard of service with safety and quality as the priority.
- Ensuring all personnel are receiving the correct level of training as required
- Coordinate all personnel for locations (Supervisor, Operator, Ass. Operator, Driver).
- Primarily responsible for day-to-day operation in Base in a safe and efficient manner.
- Responsible to coordinate all operational activities and maintenance of equipment and yard based activities.
- Implementation and Administration of company policies.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring companies logistics activities.
- Comply with all company quality, health and environmental policies and procedures. In addition, perform any function or activity that the company considers fit to achieve.
- Ensure access passes and permits for all onshore activities.
- Responsible for identifying location hazards and job risk assessments and take actions to execute the job safely and ensuring the highest service quality, Ensure no environmental damage is done whilst performing jobs.
- Conduct toolbox prior to commence work, and ensure that each individual are perfectly understand his task safety precautions.
- Ensure all personnel working with work safely and environmentally aware, and executed their tasks as per company safety procedure.
- Responsible for all safety on location and company workshop (including but not limited to safety equipment check, fill all required safety forms as per company procedure, stop work in case of unsafe conditions, ..)
- Preparing Incident Report which should be made brief and consistent.
- Actively promote a health and safety culture through use of appropriate systems, work practices and evolving technologies and include the integration of QHSE principals into decision making.
- Achieve any State Government or national targets for and Injury Management and provide sufficient resources to plan, develop and implement the necessary strategies to meet these targets.
- Ensure all departments implements effective QHSE management systems which rigorously identify and control risks.
- Implements appropriate corrective actions resulting from incidents or audits
- Authorized to stop any activities that do not follow safe work practices.
- Ensure smooth running of operations by controlling equipment maintenance, spare parts, raw material that is required to the operation.
- Provide technical inputs into Equipment Standardization for the evaluation and procurement of equipment.
- Undertake technical and safety audits, ensuring QHSE standards are met as per client requirements.
- Update companys engineering equipment aligning it with latest technology.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Petroleum Sciences or related discipline.
- Technical expertise in well services and drilling processes.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in oilfield cementing operations
- Preferably
Algerian nationals. - Strong understanding of cementing theory, slurry design, and field execution.
- Knowledge of API cementing standards and well integrity requirements.
- Excellent communication in English (both written and oral), presentation, leadership/supervisory/team and organizational skills
- Knowledge of various statutory and regulatory compliances required in the market of operations.
