Senior controller

Interpath Advisory is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Controller to lead and enhance our financial reporting and control framework. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced advisory environment and brings a strong track record in financial leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

As a key member of the finance leadership team, the Senior Controller will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, driving budgeting and forecasting processes, maintaining robust internal controls, and supporting executive decision-making through accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with both local  and international standards.
• Manage budget planning, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely reporting to regional and global teams.
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with Algerian regulatory requirements and tax obligations.
• Support audits (statutory and internal) and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and relevant government bodies.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
• Contribute to the digitalization and improvement of financial tools, processes, and workflows.
• Act as a key finance business partner for leadership, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit, ideally in a multinational or advisory firm.
• Solid knowledge of Algerian accounting and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with IFRS or international reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory.
