Our Africa Region is looking for a Business Analyst North Africa that will be based in Algeria. He/She will coordinate and provide all the supportive activities which include but not only limited to marketing data collection/analysis and other administrative tasks to the team. The position will report to The General Manager North Africa.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?
- Perform quantitative analyses on customers (behaviors, clustering,...), market (revenue, volumes, market shares,...) and products/services (performance and cross-selling analyses,...) both from a historic and current perspective, and use these data to develop predictive models
- Deliver existing recurrent business dashboards to Local and regional sales and marketing operations
- Proactively propose new impacting dashboards or optimization of existing ones (content and format)
- Support Local and regional sales and marketing operations teams in ad hoc quantitative analyses, challenge the demands to ensure optimal scoping and impact
- Data Management: manage data coming from different sources, improve data quality to extract more value, be able to recreate/extrapolate market data from a partial dataset
- When needed, select and implement processes & tools to allow: Automation of processes, Visualization and storytelling, Alignment with existing company tools (SAP, Cognos, Tableau, salesforce,....)
- Serve as a central repository for key market figures to be used by Business and Finance stakeholders (including Investor Relations)
- Manage relationships with third party partners (database, tool providers) with the support
- Responsible for the implementation and follow-up of all global and regional tools with our internal and external teams
WHO ARE YOU?
- Master degree in statistics applied to quantitative marketing, with 3 years minimum experience
- Statistical analysis (descriptive statistics, multidimensional data analyses, time series analysis, optimization methods ...)
- Principles of B2B marketing, business orientation
- Appetite for the healthcare industry, knowledge of the In Vitro Diagnostics industry is a plus
- Ability to deep-dive into technical topics and to deliver high-level and easy to understand analyses
- Knowledge of methodological tools for analyses linked to a true business-oriented mindset
- Good communication and presentation skills and ability to deliver complex information in a simplified manner for different audiences
