The CFO for AXA Partners Algeria is responsible for:

Ensuring compliant tax and financial reporting for AXA Partners Algeria.Leading strategic plan preparation, Budget and Forecast processes. Acting as local Finance Business Partner, maintaining and sharing value-added business knowledge and intelligence with pears. Manage the finance team, processes and systems, following the guidelines from the Global Finance of AXA Partners.

The role involves leading the Finance function in the Country – team of 17 FTEs.

Assistance revenues are currently over €13.3m split between 4 business lines (Motor, Home, Health & Travel).

The CFO of AXA Partners Algeria is also a permanent member of the local Leadership Team.

The key responsabilities are:

Financial Compliance

• Secure financial accounting and local regulatory reporting.

• Secure preparation of AXA Group reportings.

• Ensure the establishment and monitoring of reliable financial information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

• Monitor the preparation of financial statements, in compliance with legal, tax, regulatory, and internal group requirements

• Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place: secure the sign off for financial information published by local legal entities and for AXA reportings.

• Ensure the dissemination and proper application of new laws and regulatory developments.

• Manage relationship with external auditors.

Tax Compliance

• Sign off on direct and indirect taxes compliance for the legal entitiy.

• Ensure corporate structure is optimal as regards taxes.

Financial Planning and Reporting

• Lead the strategic planning, budgets and forecasts processes gathering and consolidating data and information in coordination with local stakeholders.

• Secure adequate and timely reporting for AXA Group, central, regional and local Leadership team

• Lead efficiency initiatives to optimize productivity and quality in Finance team in the Country.

• Identify the means necessary to achieve the company's objectives.

• Monitor the implementation of strategic actions

• Validate the company's result forecasts.

• Provide the management with reliable financial information and provides analyses and studies to control and improve the company's financial performance.

• Ensure budgetary control and participates in optimizing resources (management tools, planning, dashboards, budget studies, and cost accounting).

Finance Systems

• Support and drive local execution of finance transformation programs.

People Management

•Lead a highly motivated team ensuring resources are appropriately deployed and competencies matched to requirements.

•Ensure that employees have effective development plans in place to enhance their performance, ensure the development of technical and soft skills, and empower the teams.

•Proactively lead change management projects, including, formal consultation, social relations and restructures, where appropriate.

•Unite teams around a strategic vision

•Embark the teams in the transformation journey for best execution and delivery.

Other activities:

Monitor customer receivables

Prepare the holding of Board of Directors meetings, Annual General Meetings, and Extraordinary General Meetings in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Assist the statutory auditor

Your Profile

· Finance, Economic and/or Accounting degree qualifications.

· +5 years experience as Head of Finance or similar.

· Substantial and proven experience of financial management including financial planning and analysis, reporting, accounting procedures and controls.

· Proven leadership capability.

· Knowledge of industry and local markets, regulatory and tax environment, competitors.

· Experience in managing Finance programs (system change, organizational improvement) with strong change management capabilities.

· Excellent communication skills – ability to listen, seek feedback and insights, communicate a clear vision of the future.

· Willingness to challenge and escalate where appropriate.

· Ability to influence and deliver through others.

· Display strong business acumen: understand business needs and ability to translate, problem-solving approach which goes beyond its own expertise.

· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
